Assignment 1: Getting started with social bookmarking
There are a number of social bookmarking sites such as Reddit, StumbleUpon, Delicious and Diigo. For this assignment we will use Diigo (www.diigo.com)
- Set up a free Diigo account
- Install the Diigo toolbar
- Go tho Diigo help (help.diigo.com ). In the left navigation menu, look for the “How To” section for your browser. You can also review the “Video and Tutorial” section for additional help.
- Search for information on “social bookmarking”. Add bookmarks and tags to your pages and save to your Diigo library.
Super easy to set up account and toolbar.
That was so much easier than I was expecting! I can’t wait to organize and share some of my bookmarks.
The toolbar makes this process very easy.
