Gabe

  • Gabe Zichermann: is the chair of “GSummit”, a conference where gamification innovators are gathering to share knowledge and experience in leading marketing industries by innovative ideas and insight about customer & employee engagement and loyalty. Gabe defined gamification as “the process of using game thinking and game dynamics to engage audience and solve problems”. He is the author of three books, “Game Based Marketing, 2010”, “Gamification by Design, 2011”, “The Gamification Revolution, 2013”, as well as a public speaker in many events and conferences. His TED talk “How Games Make kids Smarter”, Gabe  shows how games are making kids better problem-solvers. Gabe resides in New York City, where he is co-director of startup accelerator The Founder Institute, and a board member of StartOut.org

  • Yu-kai Chou: is a pioneer and international keynote speaker on Gamification since 2003, “when no one was caring about that idea”, he said. He has been a regular speaker/lecturer on Gamification Worldwide, including at organizations like Stanford University, Accenture, Tedx, SxSW, Gamified India, Huawei, the Innovation Center in Denmark, and many more. His TED talk on  Gamification  is very interesting and noted to what makes game appealing, as he said, it is not points or badges or leaderboard; it is the feeling of the challenge. According to Chou, “Gamification is the craft to take all fun and excited elements of games and bore them into boring non-game context, things that you have to do but you don’t want to”. He is best known as the creator of The Complete Gamification Framework: Octalysis.
